underage suplement taking? ...

utuberlol's picture

Hi guys i was wondering if anyone could tell me if supplements are bad for u18 year olds. Im just 17 and ive been working out for about 9 months now, to get bigger and fitter. I've been seeing great changes working out without supplements, even tho i would still like to see a greater change. Ive tried post work out drink, protein drinks, shakes, and their alrite. In England one problem is they prohibit u18's to take supplements. You guys still think it is neccesary?

post workout nutrition

I usually lift at night after work, so my post workout meal comes around 9pm and a follow up protein scoop, flaxseed pill, etc. about 1.5 to 2 hours later and then I hit the sack. You guys suggest the post workout meal should consist of liquid carbs/protein for faster absorption and then a solid meal about 1.5 hours later. Is it as beneficial, or even effective, to have a solid meal after the workout and then a liquid meal later? I don't want to eat a bunch of carbs at 11pm and then go to sleep an hour later do I?

Malto, dextrose, ect are key for post work outs to restore glycogen.. u can buy CYTOSPORT's CYTOMAX and mix that with any vanella protein for an awsome post work out shake or the only other ill use is Cell tech by muscle tech now i hate muscle techs products but its got your creatine and your dextrose that are both key for post work out.. now u cant mix anything with the cell tech but 15 mins later grab a simple protien shake (i use cytosport complete whey) and your set.. Muscle techs products are expensive so go for it if its on sale brother.. hope i could help...

look out for jamcore supplements!!!

ALOT lol....i have a question tho.....http://www.optimumnutrition.com/products/100%25-Whey-Gold-Standard-p-201.html....does that protein have enough bcaa's????Also just to let you know....Training is going good....i am getting more flexible...but the thing about the diet...is im never hungry really..i try to eat what im suppoes to but i just dont get very hungry....so i was wondering if i could maybe just eat chicken more often....or lean meat....because i think those are the only two things i can eat even when not hungry....someone i know that is a trainer said he just eats the 97% meat or w/e.....and just makes burgers all day...and he said after cooking there is hardly any fat....let me know what u think...and if thats a bad idea...remember im still learning lol...thx
