If you don't have the bands ankle weights work great! If no weights at all just do heavy reps ;)

Abductors/Adductors

This especially for men is the most neglected muscle of all. You've all seen the machines in the gym and see the girlies using it only. Maybe it looks like it could be quite painful on the family jewels making the legs move in such a position!

Jokes aside, to dis-spell the 'this exercise is for girls' myth. Not true.

If you work the inner and outter flexors on the leg I think you'll find the power and strength in your squat go up.

For you squat maniacs out there, incorporate the adductor and abductor exercise into your regime. You may be surprised.

If you don't have the machines for working inner and outer muscles, then you can do this exercise for the outer muscle as Carey has demonstrated in her vid. For the inner, if you can obtain a swiss ball (fit ball) then you can work this muscle to.

Lie flat on your back, legs in the air with knees bent with the swiss ball in between them. Best placed above the ankle and below the knee and all you do is squeeze the ball and hold it for a 2-3 second count then release the grip, about 12-15 reps and 2-3 sets.

Specifically targeted this muscle group with an exercise, be prepared!!! Muwhaha, because I'm into bodybuilding I increase the weight and lower the reps, but nonetheless, I was sore for the next 5 days. Standing in the shower became an effort!
