Last exercise for today is Pole Pull Ups by Cynthia Bridges. This is another creative exercise that will help break up the boring monotony of your current workout routine. Enjoy!

the pole scares my crotch! either form sheer abuse or the possibility for gym arousal I am going to steer clear of this one weighted pull-ups will have to do.

Actually, this is not an easy exercise....i tried this at Cynthia's studio and if you don't have a strong back and a tight grip, you can easily fall...i think it takes more strength than a regular pull up and probably works your muscles a little differently due to a closer grip. Unfortunately, most gyms don't have a pole, but if you ever get a chance to do these they're really good and can be challenging, so try it! xoxo

Funny you should add this, sometimes when I take my kids to the playground, I am alway looking for a way to pass thetime. So yeah I have done these, superset with a few pushups and you got a good workout going.
