We've talked about the importance of stretching before, but today I want to revisit this important issue.

i read in the july issue of MUSCULAR DEVELOPMENT that stretching for 30 seconds or more before training DECREASES your POWER during training and the longer you stretch for the weaker you will be during lifting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO CONFUSED i thought stretching was good for you !!! maybe you should do all the 30 second hold stretches AFTER your workout ???? and to warm up perform the exercise with light weight ???????????? i am so confused , sombody help ?????????????????????????????

Hey Jamo, today before a very short ab crunch routine, I did the stretch on your videos in which legs are moved from side to side, and then knees lifted and again, moved from side to side, with hands and back straight on the floor.
My problem arose in that when i moved my legs, my upper body would also move with the legs abit, as opposed to staying flat on the ground. Will this improve as I keep doing it, or am i doing something wrong?
