Sorry I took so long to respond...

What's interesting is that I thought all three movements did the exact opposite of what you guys said. I just need to do more straight-toe & toe-in movements! Excelent tip on the poundage too guys. I've cut my weights down considerably since March & although I may not be as strong as I was, my muscles feel a hell of alot fuller & my joints don't hurt as much. I'm much leaner as well. You guys are the best! Peace

THANKS GUYS!

Inner stance..

It doesnt appear that Sagi is moving his knees in line with his toes when he does a toes-in stance. Is this just the camera angle? I follow my knees along my toes when im using toes-in sstance, I just make sure my legs do NOT touch each other, and the depth of my leg presses are NEVER close to parallel or below, because of the angle your working it puts your knees at high risk for injury if you try to get near parallel (also my legs simply cannot go any further because my quads hit my stomach, restricting my range of motion anyhow, so thats a good thing :-p).

Slow and controlled on the way down, and you'll feel the tension on the outter sweep of your quadriceps!

sagi is keeping his knees inline with toes when doing the inner stance its just a camera angle bro . I will totally with your description brother . usually people who tend to have their knees buckling IN its because their hip flexors are week and they can't handle the LOAD its too heavy for them ..in this situation drop the weight and go for form .

Guess that is why my knee are always sore...PRESS WITH THE HEEL...Got that down pat now....

recommend keeping the feet (on the leg press) completely on the foot plate at the top of the movement (full contraction).

Lee Haney (my god do you guys remember him? He was my idol when I was a kid..thats how old I am!). Now Mr Haney would instruct the trainee at the top of the movement to bring the toes off the plate and so the total pressure was through the heel and he believed it would be so you could get that extra 'squeeze' at the top.

In saying that, do you lock out at the top of the movement or do you keep it an inch from lockout to keep constant tension?

Is there any one advantage over the other?

I've tried both personally and I find that keeping constant tension creates a better pump however I'm not 100% sure that I gained anything extra from this long term. It was excellent as a pre-exhaustion movement before I used to heavy squat many a year ago!
