best growth producing exercise out there! what do you think about rack deadlifts? I really really love them and i feel i can target my mid back very well
nice, but
Looks great!. Thanx for posting this vid, since I`ve asked you for more leg exercises That's a lot of weight right there, Jamo. But the guy standing next to you is too serious. I'm used to funny-but-helpful kind of videos.
Thats ..
..6 times Mr Olympia Dorian Yates he is a funny Dude bro .. You don't know him !!!
Bah..
There's nothing funny about performing the deadlift wrong, so I'm glad he's serious about it.
Also, I noticed Jamo's depth isn't too deep, I'm assuming this is because as a bodybuilder you're focusing on the target muscles (in this case the lower back) and not worried about working your legs as much? And your back is pretty parallel to the ground when the bar is almost touching, this seems more like a stiff legged deadlift?
When I do deadlift I get pretty deep, should I stop going so deep?

This is ...
a dead lift that isolate specifically the back . I don't use my legs like the conventional one when I stop at the bottom letting the weight rest on the floor . There are two type of dead lift this one fries your back . Watch on the way up How I lead with my back squeezing it back . YOu are not doing wrong , just try my way and focus only by pulling with your back on the way up keep the tension on your back all the time .
Hehe
Yes yes I can tell just by watching your form how you can really isolate the lower back, especially going practically parallel to the floor!! And not touching the weights to the floor definitely keeps the tension on those powerful back muscles.
Thank you brother for the response, I'll try these next time I do deadlift (which wont be for a while, I got injured a few weeks ago and told myself i'll take at least 6 weeks off from deadlift and squat, although i tried squat last wednesday, and although i got the heavy weight i coudl normally get, i felt a large strain on my lower back, so we'll see how i feel tomorrow morning when i do legs again)

I truly ...
Think the best way to get good at dead lift without getting injured is to increase you reps and perform the exercise with a lot of reps first .
this is a breakdown of how you can start .
135 x 20 reps
225 x 15 reps x 3
Next session
135 x 20
225x 15 reps x 2
285x 12 reps x 2
and slowly build up dont do MAX you will F yourself go for quality you get better work that way .
What's another exercise
What's another exercise option for someone that has lower back problems?
get out
and get moving...
are you overweight? this is main cause for back problems in my opinion. start out with a good diet.
what type of problem, like jamo said, decides what our answers will be..

Try
..Back hyper extension But then again it depends how serious is the Problem ? if its really serious , I will stay completely away from all Rowing movements . And do pull down , or One Arm dumbbell rows on a bench .
great
great demo of a core exercise Jamo!
