Clark Bartram brings you another great exercise! The VEGAS Pro straps look like an amazing way to perform new exercises and to break up a boring workout routine. The muscle stabilizer and core recruitment must be intense!

Info
Hi I live in Perth Western Australia and I was wondering how do I get a set of the Vegas Pro workout straps ?
I contacted the company and they say that they do not ship to Australia ?
WTF is going on with that I thought you could get them anywhere in the world ?
I am a personal trainer and would like to see them used here but not possible. I will have to go to one of the other systems either rings or somthing ?
Can anyone assist as I would like a set or the Vegas Pro straps ?
Thanks

I just ..
..Spent a whole hour last on the VEAGS pro and I tell you what !!! thinking Im Mister JAMCORE ..yeah right!!! that thing kicked my ass ..Now Clark you pissed me off I'm getting obsessed with this thing , look forward to some great workout coming from me using it .
LOL.
I can imagine that, haha thats funny stuff.
These straps would be great when I come home after my workouts and want to get a little more of a burn
Yeah Baby!
Have you done a weighted dip with your weightvest on yet??? The VEGAS PRO Straps are such a great departure from "traditional" training...glad you are having fun. We need to shoot some videos together on them brother!
I'm Back
Clark, great video! I got all revved up after watching it and went down to my basement and did a chest workout on my VEGAS PRO Straps. It felt good to be back on them. I fractured my wrist playing soccer a few months ago so I had to heal for a bit. I will say I am a little sore, but not my wrist. Chest, triceps and shoulders are tenderized and of course my core.
Can you show us a video of how we can do exercises at an easier level for either beginners or as a burnout set?
Beginner Videos
Keep ypur eyes on the site Jacob, I will have many more "user friendly" demonstrations of The VEGAS PRO Straps coming. We have an entire library and most all of them anyone can do...even a very novice user. Actually The VEGAS PRO Straps are excellent for beginners and novice users because you can use just a portion of your body weight by making simple adjustments. In regards to a burn out set...if you have these set up in the gym you could easily do your "regular" workout for chest lets say, and then do the routine I demonstrate here as a great burn out. Have fun and keep up the great work!
Upper Chest
You are right, you do recruit the stabilizer muscles, that is the whole point behind "motion training" with the Vegas Pro System. As far as hitting mostly lats...if my hands went forward about 2 more inches, that would be correct. But since I am very aware of my body and positioning to hit the "sweet spot" I was actually hitting the upper chest as if doing an incline press. It sounds as if you have that "body awareness" as well, so I think you know what I'm talking about. BTW, you cannot do this movement, in my opinion,(and many more) effectively with the TRX System due to the fact they have a "vector point" as they refer to it. The straps come out at an angle, from one point in the midle above your head, limiting you the ability to get your body, comfortably, between the straps without rubbing your shoulders raw. The VEGAS PRO System has two seperate points in which the straps hang individually allowing your body to easily get in between. You couldn't do dips like I did a few videos ago, nor could you, easily, do this routine with TRX. I'm not bashing their system, I'm simply suggesting that the VEGAS PRO is a much better overall design...and yes, I was struggling after 3 reps of each!! :)
Cool
Got it. I see the benefits of having the VEGAS PRO over the TRX. It just happens that my gym has a surplus of TRXs so that's what I end-up using. Thanks for the vid, Clark!

Great delivery!
I love the energy, but I have a question.
Wouldn't the "incline" pushup end up recruiting the lats as a stabilizer (to a great extent), thus reducing the effort on the pects? I figure on the VEGAS bands or the TRX bands, you're going to need to elevate your feet and keep your hands low to target the upper chest muscles and ant. delts.

..Funny Bro ..I love the bit when you had to tell us about your daughter filming and fixing her hair . Great exercise I have been experimenting with the VEGAS PRO that Clark got me (thank you bro ) its amazing look forward to see me using it in some workouts in the future
ooooo
i've never seen inclined and peck-fly(?) push-up before. that is so cool!
Excellent
You can see how much Clark was struggling just after doing 3 of each. And thats not saying anything against his strength, power, or endurance, that just goes to show how intense these exercises can be when you perform them right!!
