What is the advantage ?
what is the advantage of keeping the lower back against the bench ? Never see anyone do it that way. So gotta ask....
because...
i think if you don't and if you use a heavy weight then your lower back will get hurt try it once before

yeah, as far as my understanding goes, that is correct.
some people have a tendency to arch their back excessively, which can cause not only improper technique, but also potential injury to the lower back. Same principle applies to bench press. I always put my feet up
