A Little About Me
My name is Al Rosen. I have a lifelong commitment, interest, and range of experience within the realm of sports, fitness, and physical education. Over the past decade I have been developing, implementing, and am expanding a dynamic and evolving fitness event, the Tri-Fitness competition.
If you are interested in becoming an associated sponsor of this fitness phenomenon that has become highly contagious and actively spreading across the continent, please feel free to contact me at:
Phone – 813-263-2779, Website – www.trifitnesschallenge.com, www.womenstrifitness.com, www.trifitnessmagazine, (information on the magazine), www.trifittv.com (video site), www.theultimatefitnesschallenge.com (men’s challenge), www.childrensfitnesschallenge.com (children’s challenge), www.wtfmodels.com and www.fitdreamteam.com (a website for the women athletes created by the athletes) or Email – trifitman@aol.com
Events which have spawned:• Training camps and teams of athletes emanating from major US cities.
• An informative and alluring pictorial fitness magazine.
• A developing line of clothing and fitness accessories.
• An association with a very well known spokesperson, friend, and supporter, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson of wrestling and movie fame.
• Athletes that have been featured throughout a wide variety of commercial media (like that recently highlighted on HBO’s Real Sports).
• Highly popular children’s challenge which benefits The Rock Foundation www.djrockfoundation.orgThe essence of my vision is perhaps best exemplified by the following editorial from a past issue of the Women's Tri-Fitness Magazine:
They came from across this vast continent – from Manitoba to Miami. Two Hundred and thirty athletes – ranging in age from 15-65; from all walks of life, competed in the Tri-Fitness World Challenge this past July in Las Vegas, Nevada. New friendships were formed and old ones renewed. Athletes scaled 10 foot walls, 15 foot cargo nets, energized the arena with fitness routines, benched pressed, box jumped and graced the stage in the physique round. Friends, family, photographers, resort guests, and celebrity judges alike were wowed by the infectious vigor and enthusiasm of our competitors.
Only a few won the top medals and honors. However, all those involved triumphed in spirit. The newcomers to our competition reveled in their ability to complete the challenge. Our more experienced competitors faced the challenge of surpassing their previous year’s performance.
Some may mistakenly take the Women’s Tri-Fitness (WTF) to be a bodybuilding competition because of the captivating physique event. However, our competition is an overall fitness challenge. Our women athletes must demonstrate their competitive and creative strengths via a 160 yard obstacle course, a choreographed fitness routine, and by sprinting, jumping, lifting their way through the fitness skills segment. The physique event is a natural albeit dazzling byproduct of our athlete’s pure commitment to disciplined, regular training.
The WTF welcomes all those who yearn for a healthy, attainable challenge and competition. Come join the WTF family and compete on a realistic and level playing field. The WTF competition is inviting in its variety, energy, and intensity. It is also a competition that breeds warmth, camaraderie, and mutual respect amongst its participants.
Enjoy the magazine and learn more about our athletes and events, along with our many articles on nutrition and training. Until next time – I encourage you to embrace the WTF mantra – Wish, Train, & then Fulfill.
