A Little About Me
I'm changing my name here at Jamo's suggestion to make me more "approachable".
My motto is "BE HEALTH". It comes from a line in the movie"Caddyshack", Ty Webb (Chevy Chase) tells Billy that in order to be a better golfer, "Be the ball, Billy!". In Zen fashion, he is saying become "one" with what you want to master. Likewise, in life, I don't think you want to be healthier, you want to "be health!" ie make good health your life. Just so you know, I do think this is totally compatible with have a margarita every once in a while! When I Started Working Out

American Gladiator
Posted January 25th, 2008 by tribe docOk, come on, you can't tell me these "gladiators" aren't taking growth hormone and testosterone ! Talk about an unfair advantage! How is your above average athlete supposed to compete with these guys (and women)? And yet the show is wildly popular. Maybe the American public is ok with athletes optimizing if not supercharging their hormone levels even is the FDA and the pro sports governing bodies aren't. Hey, if its ok to hurt someone in the rink with a massive body check, why not be able to "hurt" yourself (if that is the concern) to give the fans a better show?
