Hi Stevers

Thanks for your welcome to MFT. I will get my profile fully updated shortly - just wanted to get logged on here first of all. I understand doing it alone is extremely difficult which is why I came here in the first place! Look forward to interacting with everybody as I progress..

Thanks for the comment. I understand about body types and all that, but I take it if you consume junk food and do weight training you will gain little results simply due to poor diet, am i right? can you get a bodybuilder's body from bodyweight exercises.. will dozens of push ups daily and a lot protein get you that body? or is this only possible by weights. Is it true push ups brake your muscle cells like lifting weights ?

Thanks stevo, for responding to my blog questions. I'm one of those that only has little bits of lots of different types of information swirling around in my head, and am not always sure about how to piece all of it together to make an informed and effective decision about what to eat, when to work out, when to rest, what type of workout to do, etc. I really appreciate the input from those here who have been doing "it" longer, and with success... it's why I joined MFT! Like you suggested, I'll skip my more typical strength-yoga in exchange for some stretch and flexibility stuff, drink a crapload of water, and see how I feel tomorrow. I usually don't run up hills, so that was a new switch-up for my muscles, I guess!

if your joking about me being vein , then i am extremely offended because i am the oposite of vein , when it comes to training , i am the most serious guy at my gym , i put on baggy sweat pants and a big hoody and pull my hat over my face and put my ear phones in and get down to business , i am not some poofter poser who walks about the gym checking himself out every 2 minutes and trying to show off , i am the oposite of that , so i dont find your joke funny at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! very insulting !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Steve, I knew you would like the Daffodil Principle. I bookmarked the other you sent me. I think I might show it to the kids at school. I could get one of my whiz ones to make it project on the board somehow. It's a beautiful story with beautiful pictures.
We ought to blog it here. How could I blog it or you?
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs!

very true ;) i agree with you on that one ;) hows training going ??? ps- any tips for lagging triceps ??

thanks for your advice but sorry i am going to have to disagree with you on this one bro !! I have looked at a million workouts and watch so many videos of guys like shawn ray n kevin levrone doing workouts etc and doing barbell followed by dumbbell press's is so common !! i copyed this exact workout from the newest muscle mag , why would they put it in one of the best bodybuilding magazines in the world if it wasnt good !! my main issue was triceps ??? any advice for under developed triceps ???

Yes, full range of motion, controlled execution, proper form. 8-12 rep range for most exercises.

Hey Steve, I put a old fat pic of me up.....omg, you will be shocked....I am.
hugs, and I answered your comment.
