I found this site after making a choice to not let myself go and gain any more weight. I want to be healty and in shape and this is the right place to be. Hey bro! Welcome to the MFT family! Umm, as far as how you stay motivated, i see potential problems down the road with that. Granted, I too was once like that, I was disgusted with myself and through hatred I fueled my workouts. That didn't last too long though as all though negative thoughts were harming me little by little until one day I just cracked and depression sank in.

Let me give you some personally experienced advice: To motivate yourself, realize you're not where you want in terms of body composition, realize that you have the tools you need to obtain your ideal physique, and look at how far you've come!!! Not how far you have yet to go. You lost 25lbs on your own (with the right tools) and that's quite an accomplishment already! Don't be content with where your currently at (as that will halt your progress), but rather be excited about the results you've achieved so far, and only compare yourself to you!

Jamo's old saying, "If you can see it, you can achieve it" is so true! Through hard work, dedication, and consistency you'll get the results you want.
