A Little About Me
Hey everyone! Thanks for visiting my site... My name is Lauren McBride (formally Lauren Showers... I just got married! :). I live in Scottsdale, AZ where I have a personal training business. I am also a fitness model and fitness journalist. Anything to do with making the body, mind and spirit healthier, stronger and more vibrant I am all over it!
Like most of us here on the site, I am invigorated by a great workout and any kind of activity that gets my adrenaline pumping like kick boxing, salsa dancing, mountain biking etc. but I also enjoy the mind-body side of fitness as well by de-stressing, reconnecting and working on my flexibility through my yoga practice. I believe balance is crucial to overall health.

Exercises
Reverse crunches on the ball!! They are killer and will pop out your six pack like nothing else!
Healthy Foods
Salmon, chicken, spinach, tabouli, asparagus, sweet potatoes, quinoa, greek yogurt, Udos oil, coconut oil, raw walnuts, blueberries, acai, aloe vera juice, unsweetened cranberry juice... the list goes on!
Not So Healthy Foods
Wine, fine cheeses, sushi, Starbucks, and the occasional trip to a frozen yogurt shop with fruit, coconut flakes and dark chocolate chips ... yummm.
Supplements
Glutamine, L-Carnitine, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Wheat grass shots, Whey, and a good attitude! ;)
