A Little About Me
I'm a personal trainer, tradeshow model and VIP bottle server in Las Vegas, and I'd like to think I'm an up-and-coming fitness model. I am a veteran of the US Navy (1992-1997) and attended Iowa State University for Premedicine and Exercise Science. I am ACSM-HFI, NASM, NCCPT and APEX certified and am working on my NESTA & ACSM-cPT certs.
I've been training since 1987, personal training since 2003, and competing since 2005.
I recently discovered I had adult ADD, moderate hypoglycemia & anemia and with proper nutrition and exercise I was able to control most of my conditions. Years of failed attempts through modern medical treatments led me down a path of clinical depression and eventually a suicide attempt. In February of 2006, after a prescription drug & alcohol induced episode, I made 3 attempts take my own life. To this very day, I can only thank God for his miraculous intervention and allowing me a second chance at life. A few weeks later, I found the strength to walk out on an abusive relationship with a broken nose and broken and ankle. Then another 2 months later (after an intense diet & exercise program that did not include cardio), I competed in Clark Bartram's very first show, the 2006 Golden State Championships (FAME at the time) and hobbled away with the Female Fitness Model Champion title. Granted, I was not in the best shape of my life or of the other competitors, but one thing is for sure, I was more happy to have been alive to make it there than to have won in the end.

1987 ! ! ! I was a freshman in highschool. Weight training was a PE elective and at the time, PE was a scholastic requirement.... ah, the good ol' days! How I Started
My parents were active in running & weight trainingWhy I Love It
My body image is very healthy and exercise makes me feel stronger, more agile and resistent to bad healthHow I Stay Motivated
My boyfriend Geoff helps out, but mostly through my obligation to my health & GodMy Worst Injury
I subluxed my left shoulder in 2004 when I first started personal training outside of college (cleaning up 45lb plates after lazy wanna be meatheads... 12 plates to be exact ! ! ! ). 4 years later, it's caused me alot of setbacks. I've atrophied half of my upper body mass that I built in my teens and early 20s, can barely lift more than 10lbs per arm (thank God for low weight/high rep workouts or I'd be skin & bones)
I Would Love To Meet
EVERY PERSON in the fitness industry (for work or for health), Oprah, Catherine Zeta Jones, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Angelina Jolie, Victor Webster and Orlando Bloom (after I train him to put on 25lbs of LBM) LOL
