i just noticed you had rammstein in your music list!! they're awesome!! i love the german language. until you try to translate some of rammsteins songs. lol. they're really sick. but they made good music, so i just dont translate sometimes. plus translation can sometimes lose the meaning and feeling u get when just saynig the language.
hope all is well, hope you get the summer off too, laterz

I'm trying to add in some body-weight workout weeks in my routine just to change things up a little..and i feel it uses much more energy than just lifting weights..

Singapore is not a bad place, a little hectic though, haha!!

Take care man!

Hi Jason
Here is the deal with high protein intake. In people with normal kidney function, increased protein intake has not been shown to harm the kidneys. However, if you have underlying kidney disease, increased protein can speed up the rate of kidney function decline. Increased amounts of protein, even at 1 gram/lb bodyweight causes hyperfiltration in the kidneys. This is has been shown in studies including the one done by me. However, no one to my knowledge has done a longterm trial in healthy people to show if this hyperfiltration leads to kidney decline. In diabetics, we have increased hyperfiltration early in the disease and their kidney function slowly declines. So hyperfiltration causing kidney damage is a possibility but I don't have any actual data in normal patients to support this with. I do think people overdo it with protein though.

Sean Hashmi
