A Little About Me

Hey, This is Avri. I'm a professional comic book artist, a recording artist, writer, photographer, and aspiring actor and director. As a kid I was always infatuated with film and always wanted to become that action hero while growing up watching Arnold, Sly, and Van Damme. I even decided to get a little more serious about it so I started taking acting classes but shied away from stage plays because I didn't want to take myself too serious. I just liked the look and storytelling of film, being that I work with photos and writing and come from a comics and artistic background. I've started my own company called "Dream Realm Entertainment". Under the Dream Realm imprint, I wish to publish my works relating to clothing, music, graphic novels, and film. This is my own small indie company where I feel I have total creative freedom. I hope to create work for fans to enjoy as well as myself. When I was a bout 16 I started working out a bit off and on an got really serious by the age of 18. Each year that goes by, I kick my workouts up a few levels. Even as a 4 year old child I had always admired bodybuilders and started to draw them. I always liked strong heroes like Superman and the Hulk and grew so I grew up watching Lou Ferrigno. I think Arnold and Sly Stallone has really had the largest impact on us all. I even wanted to be as strong as Dolph Lundgren. The past weeks, I was able to meet long time favorite Beth Horn and I even drew a pic of her and Jennifer Widerstrom. I purchased Beth's "THE NATURAL WAY" book and she signed it along with a photo. Growing up I've always been infatuated with martial arts and Bruce Lee so I started training in a few different styles. Brazilian jujitsu has been the most exciting for me. It's a little different. I was always a die hard wrestling fan, so I started freestyle grappling on campus. Some time in life I hope to become a well known actor and release a few martial arts action films as well as contributing to the horror and drama genres. When I Started Working Out

Off and on around age 16. I got really serious at 18 and up.

How I Started

I use to just take the broom stick and put across my shoulders, rest my arms on it and squat 100-150 up til I'd fall down the stairs and couldn' t walk down them. lol.

Why I Love It

It give me this insatiable burn and confidence. Plus I love when people compliment how I look in public or when they get close to me.

How I Stay Motivated

I study bodybuilders and athletes like Dave Batista, Bill Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, or Gina Corano.

My Worst Injury

I had a shoulder injury a while back that put me on the sideline for a couple of weeks. One time removing an irate guest from a bar, I got stabbed and wasn't able to work out for three months.
