A Little About Me

Well, I am an 18 year old very ectomorphic hard-gainer type who likes to work out! Besides that, I am also a fairly adept artist in both pencil, pen, and paint. Probably my favorite thing to draw is the figure. (And it just so happens to be my best subject as well!)

When I Started Working Out

I started a actual routine 2 weeks ago..(June 3rd, 08)

How I Started

Well, I got myself a pair of 20lb dumbells mainly to use as push-up stands till I can lift them with good form. Till then I'm useing a 100lb set my bro has.

Why I Love It

Feel great, look great, and get stronger!

How I Stay Motivated

Look at my roll models (bodybuilders) and remember, one day I'll be ripped too!

My Worst Injury

No injuries yet (thankfully). I am really careful about not overdoing it and stretching during and after workouts. (not so great at before though..)

I like my forearms. My biceps aren't to bad either (for me anyway) ABS!!!! (working on it.)

Exercises

Biceps Curl, Overhead Triceps extension, wrist curl, reverse wrist curl, squat, lunge, calf raise, crunch with a cross,opposite arm and leg raise. But I'm thinking of really amping up my ab routine.

Healthy Foods

Rice, Cottage Cheese, Milk. (I'm working on it.)

Not So Healthy Foods

My Abs

I want to really hit my abs and be able to do those "castro's" properly. (watch his workout, it's awesome.)

I'm also trying to get more comfortable on the bar, holding my own weight for extended periods, etc.
It's difficult because of my long arms but that in itself is an advantage. I just need to keep the right intensity.

Also on the pull up bar, I'm trying to really isolate my serratus anterior. I'm not really comfortable lifting weights over my head, so I don't do dumbbell pullovers. (I don't even like doing skull crushers.)

Got about and extra inch on my arms now so yeah, I'm good. Looking for a good protien powder though.
