Get Fit with Five like Jessica Simpson

Have you noticed a little extra pep in Jessica Simpson’s step lately? Have you seen a greater definition in her arms and legs? Realized that her abs are tighter and more toned? That’s because in preparation for her upcoming work, Jessica began to follow Harley Pasternak’s 5 Factor Fitness plan and diet.

The plan involves eating not three, but five meals per day: your regular three plus two nutritious snacks. The diet focuses on include lean protein, fiber-rich foods, low-glycemic carbs, healthy fats, and sugar-free drinks. The fitness plan is also based on fives: there are five phases of fitness and Pasternak recommends a five-day-a-week training regimen. How many minutes constitutes a workout? Five squared or 25 minutes! How many minutes is the warm-up? Five minutes . Cool down? Five minutes! Each week, you increase your weights and reps, building up your endurance and stamina. One of the reasons Jessica turned to the 5 Factor plan was that it allowed her to retain her shapely feminine figure and tone up her muscles. She created real, defined, lasting results, but also kept her female physique!
