- 1. What two words best describe your build/physique/figure? Why?
- Lean Machine (hahahaha)…I make healthy choices all year long when it comes to staying in shape and eating right.
- 2. What part of your body deserves to be honored in the “Physique Hall of Fame?” Why?
- Before, I would have said abs, now I’m leaning more towards legs. I feel that my legs are stronger, and they look better as well.
- 3. When did you first realize your body was sexy, appealing or exemplary?
- After I finished gymnastics, I had a break from training and I did not pay attention the way I should have to what I ate. It wasn’t until I started to teach aerobics classes and noticed the changes in my body that I truly felt a difference. I then started to pay more attention to healthy living. I would have to say that was the turning point to more overall confidence in myself.
- 4. In the quiet moment before you begin a workout, what’s the first thing that goes through your mind? And what is the last thing that goes through your mind as you conclude a workout?
- When the time comes for me to perform my training, I look at my plan and visualize what needs to be done. Since I don’t have hours to waste in the gym, I make sure my mind is focused and prepared to execute in an efficient way. After my workout, I have feelings going through my mind such as: “I feel good, I’m happy I took the time to do this, I am stronger because of it.”
- 5. Who is your physique/fitness idol or role model, and what body part would you steal from that person for a day?
- I do not have anyone that I look at in that way. However, I do appreciate many fitness models and competitors for the way they take care of their bodies. I look at my own body and I feel and see the areas that I need to improve on, and I work on it.
- 6. Who or what inspires you to accept the daily challenge of building your physique/figure?
- The way I feel during and after working out, competitions, and photo shoots are the biggest motivators for me right now
- 7. If someone wrote a book or song about your body, what would it be called?
- Hmmmmmmmm…how about “Black Panther”- exotic, strong and elegant in movement.
- 8. Your name appears as an option on a restaurant menu, and you order the dish/beverage. What food/drink does the waiter deliver to your table?
- First of all, you would not find this option in many restaurants. It would be in a five-star establishment that has a waiting list for months ahead of time. It would be a piece of that Black Panther from before…hahahaha, Just kidding. How about a lean steak dish that has a combination of mouth-watering and nose-tickling seasonings that you never thought were possible.
- 9. What would a talking mirror say about your body if you stood naked in front of it?
- “Put some clothes on!”
- 10. If you received the ultimatum: workout or die— but your other favorite thing was simply too hard to resist— what is that one other thing you love (besides loved ones, family, friends, etc.) so much that you would actually choose it over your “final workout?”
- Being on the stage of “Dancing With The Stars.” Okay, now I am dead, Great! Oh…but I can’t speak because I am dead…erase that.
