- 1. What two words best describe your build/physique/figure? Why?
- Slim and toned. I am a very thin girl by nature; however, I work very hard to make it a fit, hard body…no skinny fat over here.
- 2. What part of your body deserves to be honored in the “Physique Hall of Fame?” Why?
- I cheated on this question and enlisted the help of my fiancé. My legs have won the award. I have very slim yet shapely legs. Took me a while to build them to be that way, but I was successful and they look awesome in heels.
- 3. When did you first realize your body was sexy, appealing or exemplary?
- I honestly thought for the first time that my body was unique and sexy when I won my first ever fitness competition this past year. I never thought that my body was awful or unattractive; however, I didn’t have the definition from my muscle tone in the previous years. I love the way I look when I see the shape in my body that I worked so hard for with exercise and diet. Now, when I am in my “off season,” I think I’m gross.
- 4. In the quiet moment before you begin a workout, what’s the first thing that goes through your mind? And what is the last thing that goes through your mind as you conclude a workout?
- Right before a workout, I go over the exercises I will be performing, reps and sets. I map out what equipment I’ll be using and in which order. I also imagine how I want my body to look and that usually gives me the drive to lift that weight around.
The conclusion of my workout is after my treadmill cardio session. I am hot and exhausted and, usually, I am shoving people out of the way and tripping over things to get into the locker room where my protein shake is waiting for me. Food is always on my mind.
- 5. Who is your physique/fitness idol or role model, and what body part would you steal from that person for a day?
- Many people who are dedicated to transform their bodies and who live exceptionally healthy lifestyles are an inspiration. If I had to choose, I would select Alicia Marie. Her body is amazing. I would definitely want her shoulders for the day…I’d wear tank tops all day long, in the dead of winter, skiing.
- 6. Who or what inspires you to accept the daily challenge of building your physique/figure?
- My true motivation comes from my fiancé. A fitness guru himself, he helps me out with my diet and exercise regime. He is constantly encouraging me and pushing me to be my best. It’s a great feeling to have someone behind you the whole way helping you to reach your goals and live your dreams. His positivity is inspiring and without a doubt motivating.
- 7. If someone wrote a book or song about your body, what would it be called?
- “A Rising Star”
- 8. Your name appears as an option on a restaurant menu, and you order the dish/beverage. What food/drink does the waiter deliver to your table?
- Definitely something sweet and unique. A mixture of all good things piled into one fantastic dish of ice cream. Sweet cream flavor topped with all the fixings, such as Oreo cookie crumbs, caramel, fudge, and peanut butter. Complete with whipped cream and a cherry, of course. In this dish, there is something for everyone. I am definitely personable, easy going, unique, and I get along with everyone.
- 9. What would a talking mirror say about your body if you stood naked in front of it?
- “Tammy, your hard work and dedication to diet and training every day has paid off tremendously. Slim and slender, yet proportionate and shapely. You are as pretty as you are sweet.”
- 10. If you received the ultimatum: workout or die— but your other favorite thing was simply too hard to resist— what is that one other thing you love (besides loved ones, family, friends, etc.) so much that you would actually choose it over your “final workout?”
- I truly do believe that one of life’s pleasures is food. I would choose a sampling of foods from all around that world. I refrain from eating all these great, delicious, pieces of heaven because I have the desire to look a certain way and live a healthy lifestyle. So if I had to choose something over my last workout, without a doubt…food.
