1. What two words best describe your build/physique/figure? Why?
Balanced and symmetrical. I'm currently so focused that I'm only chewing gum on the right side of my jaw to get that symmetry in check. For my next competition, I'm bringing back nasty conditioning. Dry like crackers and vascular like a penis. LOL.
2. What part of your body deserves to be honored in the “Physique Hall of Fame?” Why?
None, I'm a realist here. A better question would be, 'What's my best part?" Legs have always been the staple in my physique. I had held back for a long time, but my philosophy on that has changed. That just means I have to focus even harder on lagging parts. I have to give my legs a "rabbit" in my physique to chase.
3. When did you first realize your body was sexy, appealing or exemplary?
Well, I've always been fit, so I have many phases of how I viewed myself physically. Although I always looked ripped up through high school and college as a wrestler, I never acknowledged the "ripped look" because my interest was in performance. Once I finished wrestling, vanity took over. I believe you attract what you radiate, so as I focused more on vanity, I got more looks.
4. In the quiet moment before you begin a workout, what’s the first thing that goes through your mind? And what is the last thing that goes through your mind as you conclude a workout?
My business calls for a lot of my attention, and I'm always rushed into workouts. So, I have to remember to take my warm-ups slow, because my body is beat up from years of grappling. At the end of my workout, timing is the key. Once again, I'm rushed into meeting my next client. So, I have to focus on getting in my post=workout supps and meals.
5. Who is your physique/fitness idol or role model, and what body part would you steal from that person for a day?
When I was growing up, I admired Shawn Ray's physique. My father followed bodybuilding, so I had magazines around when I was young. With Ray, it was all about symmetry and balance, but I'd take Greg Valentino's arms...umm...hehehe.
6. Who or what inspires you to accept the daily challenge of building your physique/figure?
The more I know about myself, the more I can do with someone else. I'm a student and most often a guinea pig of my own work. Sometimes I hire other fitness professionals to train me so that I can learn more variety for my bag of tricks through self application.
7. If someone wrote a book or song about your body, what would it be called?
"Wish I Was a Li'l Bit Taller." Wait, that's been used, so I'll go with "Consistent Cuts."
8. Your name appears as an option on a restaurant menu, and you order the dish/beverage. What food/drink does the waiter deliver to your table?
There's already a drink that I share my name with, the "Rob Roy."
9. What would a talking mirror say about your body if you stood naked in front of it?
"Break me, bitch, and you live with my wrath for 7 years! Don't test me!"
10. If you received the ultimatum: workout or die— but your other favorite thing was simply too hard to resist— what is that one other thing you love (besides loved ones, family, friends, etc.) so much that you would actually choose it over your “final workout?”
An adrenaline rush would have to be involved; so I'd go skydiving, drag racing, scuba diving.
