1. What two words best describe your build/physique/figure? Why?
Strong "Italian Stallion.” I train hard with the men in my gym and much like them. My father was a professional athlete. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, and I am built tough like he was. Coming from a family like mine, there is no room for weakness; so, I am tough and I stand strong in any line up much like a stallion does on a racetrack.
2. What part of your body deserves to be honored in the “Physique Hall of Fame?” Why?
My ass. It’s like an onion. It makes men wanna cry!
3. When did you first realize your body was sexy, appealing or exemplary?
I started gymnastics when I was 4, so by age 6 I had hamstrings! Then in middle school, when the chest grew enormously, I said, “Hmm, I’ve got something here. Let’s use this!” Yes, the boobs are real. Shocking! I know...
4. In the quiet moment before you begin a workout, what’s the first thing that goes through your mind? And what is the last thing that goes through your mind as you conclude a workout?
Again, my father, may he rest in peace. Driving to the gym every morning at 4 am, I think to myself, “Michele, you’re Joe’s daughter. You’re tough. Quit crying about being tired and do this shit.” When I’m done, I’m think, “Damn, I gotta go back later and do an hour of cardio.”
5. Who is your physique/fitness idol or role model, and what body part would you steal from that person for a day?
I am my own role model. I think only of myself and how to improve myself every year.
6. Who or what inspires you to accept the daily challenge of building your physique/figure?
I know I speak of him a lot but, again, my father Joseph. He will go on to inspire me for the rest of my life as he did every day that I was lucky enough to have him with me.
7. If someone wrote a book or song about your body, what would it be called?
“Brick Shit House” would be the name of the book. Ha-ha, hee-hee.
8. Your name appears as an option on a restaurant menu, and you order the dish/beverage. What food/drink does the waiter deliver to your table?
An Ice cream sundae, Sweet, yummy and tastes so good!
9. What would a talking mirror say about your body if you stood naked in front of it?
“We better call the fire department, ‘cause you’re smokin’, girl!”
10. If you received the ultimatum: workout or die— but your other favorite thing was simply too hard to resist— what is that one other thing you love (besides loved ones, family, friends, etc.) so much that you would actually choose it over your “final workout?”
That’s easy. A pizza from L&B Pizza in Brooklyn. Then I’d drive down the street to Mona Lisa’s Italian Bakery and eat half the pastries. That’s worth 10 sessions of extra cardio!
