1. What two words best describe your build/physique/figure? Why?
To my co-workers: Bricks. To me: Repairs. Bricks, because of an incident where a hapless passenger walked into me and bounced back. Repairs, because I’m always fine-tuning something I’m not satisfied with.
2. What part of your body deserves to be honored in the “Physique Hall of Fame?” Why?
My abs. No one works as hard on their abs as I think I do.
3. When did you first realize your body was sexy, appealing or exemplary?
When the ladies would always take notice. I’m always asked the same question: “Are you an exotic dancer?” I would always say, “No, but a private session could be arranged at your convenience.”
4. In the quiet moment before you begin a workout, what’s the first thing that goes through your mind? And what is the last thing that goes through your mind as you conclude a workout?
The first thing going through my mind: “What is my competition doing to fine-tune their physiques?” The last thing going through my mind: “I can’t wait to show off these improvements at the beach!”
5. Who is your physique/fitness idol or role model, and what body part would you steal from that person for a day?
Arnold Schwarzenegger. I would steal his chest, because when he starred in the movie Raw Deal, his beautiful co-star took off his shirt and she said, “Oh my God!” And I said, “Damn, Arnold, is it like that?!”
6. Who or what inspires you to accept the daily challenge of building your physique/figure?
My family health history and the fact that most people don’t have a real retirement plan. It’s like, they just sit around and wait for death to claim them. My retirement plan is to work out to increase my longevity and to slow down the aging process.
7. If someone wrote a book or song about your body, what would it be called?
I would have to use a moniker a friend of mine called me years ago: “Razor Cuts.”
8. Your name appears as an option on a restaurant menu, and you order the dish/beverage. What food/drink does the waiter deliver to your table?
Spaghetti and meatballs with a mozzarella cheese melt and a Pepsi.
9. What would a talking mirror say about your body if you stood naked in front of it?
“Damn, you look good, but there’s always room for improvement.”
10. If you received the ultimatum: workout or die— but your other favorite thing was simply too hard to resist— what is that one other thing you love (besides loved ones, family, friends, etc.) so much that you would actually choose it over your “final workout?”
SEX! Oh, and I’d want it in my dream car— a Lamborghini.
