1. What two words best describe your build/physique/figure? Why?
Beautifully Created. It is my choice to put a Twinkie in my mouth or a protein shake. It is also my choice to workout or lay in bed every morning. I choose to create my dream body and at this point in my life, my desire for a beautiful body outweighs any wants or temptations.
2. What part of your body deserves to be honored in the “Physique Hall of Fame?” Why?
Abs! In my opinion, most people “think” creating sculpted abs is difficult, but for me within a short time (3-6 weeks), I can create an amazing six-pack. Diet is key! However, I could go with eyes on this one too; they are, after all, the windows to the soul.
3. When did you first realize your body was sexy, appealing or exemplary?
When I was about 19 or 20, I knew I had that “je ne sais quoi.”
4. In the quiet moment before you begin a workout, what’s the first thing that goes through your mind? And what is the last thing that goes through your mind as you conclude a workout?
The first thing on my mind is my workout plan and what I want to accomplish. I go in the gym, turn up the iPod, and hope no one interrupts me; but usually someone does. I always feel pumped during my workouts and push myself to fatigue. The last thing on my mind is telling myself I can do one more set and knowing I did the best I could. Then I knock down a protein shake and carry on with my day.
5. Who is your physique/fitness idol or role model, and what body part would you steal from that person for a day?
I admire Monica Brant-Peckham, and I want her glutes dam it! Maybe I want her arms too, sure why not just loan me her whole body for a day…Thank you!
6. Who or what inspires you to accept the daily challenge of building your physique/figure?
Motivation has to come from within. I wanted to create “my” dream body, so I registered on an online fitness site and met wonderful friends who encourage when I want to skip or take a week off. But, in the end, it is me who decides if I work out and eat clean. I can see why many personal trainers may get frustrated with their clients who say they want to change their bodies but don’t have the follow-through or determination. This is not an easy lifestyle but it is a choice and it is one that I am happy I made for myself.
7. If someone wrote a book or song about your body, what would it be called?
”Little Hottie With The Smokin’ Body”
8. Your name appears as an option on a restaurant menu, and you order the dish/beverage. What food/drink does the waiter deliver to your table?
LOL! Great question and even the girls at work could answer this for me. It would be chicken, brown rice and maybe even a green apple. Also, a protein shake is a given.
9. What would a talking mirror say about your body if you stood naked in front of it?
”Hi, beautiful girl! Keep on keeping on.”
10. If you received the ultimatum: workout or die— but your other favorite thing was simply too hard to resist— what is that one other thing you love (besides loved ones, family, friends, etc.) so much that you would actually choose it over your “final workout?”
SEX…Hee-hee-hee. This way, I will feel really good, I’m relaxed and I still get a work out in. Pretty sneaky, huh? LOL!
