1. What two words best describe your build/physique/figure? Why?
Symmetrical & long! I’m 5’10” with some long leg muscles to build!
2. What part of your body deserves to be honored in the “Physique Hall of Fame?” Why?
I do love my back! It responds very well to training and gives me a li’l edge!
3. When did you first realize your body was sexy, appealing or exemplary?
Honestly, it was when I received my various photo shoot pictures back after my 2008 competitions. I was stunned! And proud of what I had accomplished!
4. In the quiet moment before you begin a workout, what’s the first thing that goes through your mind? And what is the last thing that goes through your mind as you conclude a workout?
Before I start, I think about victory at the next competition, then focus and push out the reps. Afterwards, I think about how good that burn feels and get excited about building more muscle. Well, except on leg days…those days I’m usually just praying that I can walk to the car to drive home!
5. Who is your physique/fitness idol or role model, and what body part would you steal from that person for a day?
Jennifer Gates and Mary Elizabeth Lado! Their complete packages are stunning, but I’d love to have either of their booties and hams!
6. Who or what inspires you to accept the daily challenge of building your physique/figure?
The challenge of bettering my physique is definitely motivating in itself, but the love and support of those around me is what keeps me going when the times get rough! My boyfriend, family, friends and last but not least, my trainer’s (Rob Pyfer) encouragement and guidance!
7. If someone wrote a book or song about your body, what would it be called?
”Body in Motion,” cuz I can’t sit still!
8. Your name appears as an option on a restaurant menu, and you order the dish/beverage. What food/drink does the waiter deliver to your table?
How about we just name the whole restaurant after me?!?!? Because I LOVE FOOD!
9. What would a talking mirror say about your body if you stood naked in front of it?
On a good day: “Lookin’ good, girl! Keep pushin'!” On a bad day: “Stop over-analyzing what needs improvement!”
10. If you received the ultimatum: workout or die— but your other favorite thing was simply too hard to resist— what is that one other thing you love (besides loved ones, family, friends, etc.) so much that you would actually choose it over your “final workout?”
Grab my friends and family and travel to Europe, see the beautiful beaches, hike while taking in awesome scenery, good wine with a yummy meal and the pastries…ohhhh…the pastries!
