- 1. What two words best describe your build/physique/figure? Why?
- Symmetrical and well proportioned. As a natural competitor, I have always emphasized training the entire body proportionally.
- 2. What part of your body deserves to be honored in the “Physique Hall of Fame?” Why?
- Abs and Hamstrings, I believe genetics laid down the foundation for a good set of abs and hamstring. With consistent training and nutrition, their potential became emphasized as my best attributes.
- 3. When did you first realize your body was sexy, appealing or exemplary?
- After my first bodybuilding competition. I trained and dieted extremely hard, but I didn’t realize how far I had come until the day of the show.
- 4. In the quiet moment before you begin a workout, what’s the first thing that goes through your mind? And what is the last thing that goes through your mind as you conclude a workout?
- Before I begin, I visualize what exercises will best hit the muscles I’m training that day. “What will hurt the most and will effectively target the muscle group? Strength! No pain, no gain! Never give in! Never give up!”
The last thing that goes through my mind is a recap of the workout. Making sure I hit everything I set out to accomplish beforehand. Basically, satisfaction and a “runner’s high,” per se.
- 5. Who is your physique/fitness idol or role model, and what body part would you steal from that person for a day?
- Frank Zane, because even as he aged he stayed in fantastic condition.
- 6. Who or what inspires you to accept the daily challenge of building your physique/figure?
- We live in a time and place where a fulfilling life is attainable. Where doing what we love is always within arms grasp, and that is what I do. We are very fortunate to have the freedoms of everyday life and that is what inspires me. Thus, I take advantage of that and do what I love, training and living a healthy lifestyle.
- 7. If someone wrote a book or song about your body, what would it be called?
- ”Hard Work and Perseverance”
- 8. Your name appears as an option on a restaurant menu, and you order the dish/beverage. What food/drink does the waiter deliver to your table?
- A medium-rare steak, a baked potato, side of veggies and a glass of water
- 9. What would a talking mirror say about your body if you stood naked in front of it?
- ”Take a day off and relax.”
- 10. If you received the ultimatum: workout or die— but your other favorite thing was simply too hard to resist— what is that one other thing you love (besides loved ones, family, friends, etc.) so much that you would actually choose it over your “final workout?”
- A warm sunny day, relaxing, either laying out or taking a stroll on a white sandy beach.
