1. What two words best describe your build/physique/figure? Why?
Consistency and symmetry are what I am about. To maintain that, It takes dedication. To be on top of physical attributes, one needs consistency – to change constantly, to keep evolving and stay on the path of progression at all times. Symmetry is simply appealing, first to myself and then to others. It says it all when others want to be just like you. That, by itself, is a statement that separates you from the not so determined.
2. What part of your body deserves to be honored in the “Physique Hall of Fame?” Why?
In the December 2004 issue of MuscleMag, there was an article called “Dynamite Glutes,” with nothing but 12 pages of photos of the best rear ends on the hottest hardbody females in the industry. You’ll find mine complimented as the only male example of “bootylicious.” So, You figure it out.
3. When did you first realize your body was sexy, appealing or exemplary?
Does this question make one sound conceited? Well, since you asked, it all started when I first set foot in the US in 1979...that’s a looooong time ago. Am I that old?
4. In the quiet moment before you begin a workout, what’s the first thing that goes through your mind? And what is the last thing that goes through your mind as you conclude a workout?
The image I will see when I “get my buff on” is what ticks me just before training...just kidding. I’m actually focused on what I will be doing and how I can get a great workout. Before leaving, I am thinking to myself, “Did that hot female like me or was she just being polite?” : )
5. Who is your physique/fitness idol or role model, and what body part would you steal from that person for a day?
Physically, I admire few. But those I do, it’s mostly for their hard work besides their great genetics. One, in particular, is Dexter Jackson. Great symmetry, especially all his muscle bellies. Can’t just settle for one...sorry.
6. Who or what inspires you to accept the daily challenge of building your physique/figure?
My motivation and inspiration is all the momentum I have acquired during all these years. It doesn’t make any sense to me to not look better or feel better about my health and physical attributes than I did before.
7. If someone wrote a book or song about your body, what would it be called?
“An Illusion of Harmony”
8. Your name appears as an option on a restaurant menu, and you order the dish/beverage. What food/drink does the waiter deliver to your table?
Ginger-peppered halibut with sautéed spinach and a glass of Persian iced tea to wash it all down smoothly.
9. What would a talking mirror say about your body if you stood naked in front of it?
“Job well done...hey, are those wrinkles?”
10. If you received the ultimatum: workout or die— but your other favorite thing was simply too hard to resist— what is that one other thing you love (besides loved ones, family, friends, etc.) so much that you would actually choose it over your “final workout?”
Relaxing in a meditation position, watching the sunset on top of a mountain with the ocean visibility in front and a tropical setting around and behind. That would make me content even if it were brief.
