Nutritional Discrepancies

Hey all! This is quite an interesting find. I have often debated this, and many a times forgotten to blog about this discrepancy that I think is really important.
It comes in the form of nutritional energy.
We break apart food for energy, with this energy we move =)

I would like to bring to all of your attention, with the best of intent, some discrepancies I have noted along my journey of fitness & health.

Muesli - A Powerful Way to Start the Day

Take one look at this amazing dish and I think you'll agree... hand picked by Mother Nature herself...

ngredients:

3 ½ cups rolled old fashioned whole-grain oats

½ cup raisins

1 cup sulfur-free dried fruit bits (fig, apricot, prune, apple, pear, cranberry, peach, dates)

¾ cup ground flaxseeds

½ cup raw walnuts (whole or chopped)

So....I haven't checked into the blog for a while...but my progress has been slow, but steady and sure. trimming up and losing fat around the middle, while building definition and bulk. All thanks to you wonderful people!!!

Michael Jodscheidt' workout!

I did Michael's chest/back workout yesterday and it was awesome. I have not felt that rush in a long time. I was just done when it was over, and 24 hours later my chest and lats are still pumped.

Tomorrow I'm gonna do his leg thrash.

1st workout this year

today i've done my 1st 2009 workout it was back and biceps workout

for back:

Pull Ups 2*10 (warm up)
behind head Pull down 4*10
Lat Pull down 3*10
Underhand Grip Pull down 3*10
Bent Barbell Rows
Deadlifts 3*10
shrugs 3*10

biceps

dumbbell curl 3*10
preacher curl 3*10
cross cable curl 3*10

and i end with something for abs:
crunch 3*50
Reverse crunch 2*10(i was half-dead i'll try to do more next time)

As Promised here Iam reflecting on 2008 and what was achieved with MFT . As you all know we have little cash to make this site what it is . This past year was huge success for us we gained more traffic and more interest from people all over the internet . This time last year we had 15000 people a month coming back to this site now we have close to 90000 . To me this is a great success so thank you to everyone who was involved for making this happen . Our goal for this year is to have a better site and more fitness expert involved .

I know we posted this topic many times but sometimes with new info coming out I get confused.

When taking Creatine Monohydrate and taking it with a simple sugar what type of sugar and how much sugar?

Some people use Gatorade powder form so for every 5 grams of Creatine how much Gatorade? Is it 1/2 a scoop or 1 scoop is that to much sugar.

Do you use regular white sugar or just stay away from that garbage.

What about Splenda 1 packet per 5 grams of creatine does that make sense?
I heard that Splenda can be toxic to your body...

Are there any other methods people are trying?

4 cups mixed greens salad
1/2 cup extra lean ground turkey
1/2 cup extra lean ground beef or chicken
add chili sauce, lemon juice (as much as you need)
2 tablespoons olive oil

which diet will you choose this year? Mediterranean, South Beach, Low Carb, High Protein Diet, Liquid Diet so many to choose from. Again another study finds that low carb diets worsens your memory, you have poor reaction time, you feel like a bag of POOH!!! the study states you need a min..of 200 grams per day to function properly ........on and on, Blah,Blah,Blah....

So which diet will you choose for 2009 and why?

What did you choose to eat for your Holiday cheat treat(S) ?

I was pretty boring as my wife said: no drinking, no treats, no junk what so ever. I stuck with my chicken breast and salad dinner. My sweet treat ready for this was a extra lite PROTEIN BAR after my dinner!!!!!

But you know what I was extremly happy with what I chose, no regrets...

8-pack abs

hi guys , just was wondering on how to maintain your well earned 8 pack and what are the best ways to get one , my answer would be a good balance of weightlifting and cardio , but recently discovered something quite surprising , went on about a 6 week cutting phase of getting up every morning and doing cardio then weights at night and i managed to shed about 15lbs of water and bodyweight ( still maintaind my hard earned muscle ) however i stopped it for a couple of weeks and only done weights at night , but i still eat clean and didnt eat a single drop of junk food , and i realised that by not
