when should cardio be done, three times a week, like Monday, Tuesday and Friday, because my cardio goes for about 50 minutes so that should be enough for me to lose weight if im doing that three days a week, right?

I would add that it may be a good idea to do in first thing in the morning after a big swig of water and a caffeine pill. I am convinced that you burn more fat on an empty stomach. Then again, everybody is different, so see when is best for you!

It is terue that youre body will burn more fat in the morning before breakfast because it has used up all its carbohydrates during a 6-8 hour sleep. However, doing cardio first thing in the morning with low/zero carbohydrates youre body can also tent to burn its own muscle tissue in order to gain new energy. So, if you do want to start cardio in the mornings, dont do it on a completly empty stomach, take a protein shake mixed with water about 20 minutes before you go out. This will help you to keep youre muscles while burning fat.

I'd say go for a minimum of 30 minutes, though, you should try to go for a minimum of 45 minutes.
If you realy want to lose weight i sugggest you do low intensity cardio as much as often, but no more then 5 days a week. The 2 resting days are needed to recover.
