hi,

i am 17 years young and I need some advice, i have been looking at this site, viewing some great workouts and much more. But I still have some questions mayby they are explained on the site but i can't watch it all you know.

-i am doing the exercise of the Ab Workout Circuit daily(but not 5 times the circuit) = I heard when you do the same exercises every day your muscles get smaller instead of getting bigger, is that correct?

Intermediate Stage:
5 x the circuit, resting 60 sec between each circuit, 10 reps per exercise

can i do it daily?

-and do some other exercises(for back, shoulders, pull ups), but i only got a floor to workout and don't feel like going to a gym but i like doing sit-ups and crunches and love to do it, i am very motivated

-i try to eat as much healthy food as possible but i just can't resist some suger drinks like coke

-i do like atlethics 3 training a week ( long distance running) so i am in a good shape but not to good.

so if i do all that i whould get like muscled abs like a six-pack?

please every comment, reply, advice is helpfull thank you!

The only way..

That your muscles will shrink, is if you dont use them.
"Use it or lose it!"

In terms of ab visibility, you need a low % of body fat, which comes from disciplined nutrition and exercise.

You don't have to give up pop/soda, but that means you'll just have to work that much harder to obtain your goal, because you dont want to give up sugary drinks. Have you tried switching to diet? I forced myself to drink diet for a few months, and after that, I couldnt go back to the regular stuff because it tasted nasty to me. I dont drink pop anymore, maybe at parties if I've had too much water and want something to satisfy my taste buds, but only diet.

Your abs bro, you cant do them everyday, they will never get rest. They NEED rest.

Getting abs is either easy, or hard. It all depends on the person, and if it was 'easy' for you, you'd already have them, and you could eat anything you wanted and not gain an ounce. Unfortunately you fall into the same boat that most of us do (including myself) and thats the "hard" boat. You'll have to work hard for your abs, but when you finally get them, you're going to be extremely proud of yourself, and you should be, its hard work and takes dedication and persistence.

your abs are like all your other muscles, they need REST...
do ab routine every other day, or they wont grow...and you'd more than likely overdo your abs instead...

you get a six-pack by losing the fat on your stomach, some people its easy and some its not...
but you need to rest your muscles...
if you do a full body program, you need to give your body a day to rest...
do your full body routine day 1,3,5...

now about your muscles gettin smaller or bigger...haha
i doubt if your muscles would get smaller, they will get bigger, but remember to rest them, for them to grow
your muscles recover and grow when you sleep and rest...

i always take a 1 hour nap after i been to the gym, which works for me...
