In the summer I like to do my cardio first because I don't want to overheat and dehydrate too much while im running (if I lift first, I'll already be sweating before I go out into the heat, and I'll either be dehydrated or I'll have had so much water that I'll cramp up). In the winter I like to do my cardio after lifting because lifting warms me up enough to allow me to go outside wearing running clothes that otherwise would make me freezing for the first 5 minutes of my run.

Some people like to run at night and lift in the morning.

Also, when looking to lose weight and/or cut, some people like to run in the morning before breakfast and then lift during the day.

Warmup

I would consider to be "cardio". You're not trying to test or improve your cardiovascular system with a warmup that you should do before all training. For about 5-10 minutes you should start off at an easy pace, and gradually increase your intensity until your heart rate is up and going, and you might even start to break a sweat.

It does depend on intensity, and also your goals. If cardio is for training, it needs to be done like weight resistance training, on some food.

If your goal is fat loss, you can do your cardio after your training. I would do approximately 30 minutes of low-moderate intensity cardio after your workout. Every once in a while mix it up and throw in some interval training, once in a while isn't going to hurt, it will only help (hopefully :) ).
you can also do higher intensity training with intervals, but do this as its own workout as well. It should take you about 20-30 minutes, and that includes warm up. If you come out of this not sweating and not wanting to just curl up in a ball because you never want to do it again, then you didnt do it right ;) hahahahaah! HIIT training is very very demanding and tough. You need to put your all into it.

You get out what you put in.

For me it depends on intensity

If you're doing low intensity cardio, I do it before my workout to help warm up.
If you're doing high intensity cardio, I do it after my workout, but make sure to drink some BCAAs and add glutamine if you can.

If you cant manage that, just take a few sips of your post workout shake and sip on it during your cardio. (just dont drink the whole thing right b4 cardio or you'll feel really sick)
