My biggest exercise hinderance....the pain we endure...ouch... punk for pain.

Greetings everyone.... I am wondering if anyone faces the same challenge I do. My biggest deterrent is soreness. It stops me from really pushing myself to feel the burn so to speak. I am not an advocate for pain... so any suggestions for getting over this mental hurdle?

Do you mean soreness while

Do you mean soreness while working out? or soreness afterwards? Really you shouldn't feel too much soreness while actually working out. That usually means you aren't warmed up enough. If you are talking about soreness afterwards, that tends to go away after a few weeks

If you're training for size,

If you're training for size, and pushing your muscles to the limits [like you should be if training for size ;) ] Then you're going to experience lactic acid build up in your muscles. This accounts for the burning sensation you feel when you're approaching the last few reps of your set. This could be considered 'soreness' in my opinion.
