I need a workout on how to gain lean muscle and cut down looking not big but cut
Well guys I do not know how to come to ask this question because It may have been answered in other forums in this great site. Well here it goes I used to be 320 pounds at 5'5 in middle school and I got made fun of allot in school and calling names so ones i went to high school i saw some lean looking people and i wanted to be like one of the jocks in the school lean and vescular and that was my goal, so I lost about 130 pounds that year alone and ate clean and just played basketball, but did not like the results i got I wanted to be more cut and lean and so i started to weight lift 3 times a day 1 hour a day while also playing basketball for a long time and about 6 months passed and all i got is very big and bulky like and I just dropped weight lifting. And the Question I am going to ask is what do I do to cut down. My diet is not bad at all i try to eat more protien and drink allot of water, but since i broke my anckles i never ren again for a while and i wanna get back into working out after college and work and actually see results of being lean. im currently 5'8 200 pounds 14 percent body fat, I eat clean since i never eat junk food any more i eat soups,chicken allot of salads. I have not started a workout yet. and would like to know what can i do to get lean and be hard not as so soft as i am now thanks allot people. sorry for some of my spelling am not the best and for so many questions.

no one has responded me yet hmm what should i explain more in detail what i want help with. lol if i wasnt very clear with what i wanted help with is I wanted to know can any one make me a workout i can do to loose a lil bit of weight and like get vascular look like being cut. and what should i try to eat and how. how much cardio i need to do. can any one help please lolz. i wanna try and get back into lifting after a while of lay off because i was getting very big when i was 320 i lost weight to 160 and then started to lift i went from that weight to 200 and just big bulky look even though i ate and slept good and did not see what i wanted to see in the mirrior as a hard looking body with veins poping out lol exaggirating but just being cut and tone to the fullest :) lolz thankz for any one who desided to help me out and i would post my results on here.

Hey bro, checkout my article on Gaining Muscle and Losing fat. I'm not saying you have to follow it, because I realize you're not wanting to gain muscle so much, but take the exercises I've written down and when you workout, perform them at higher repetitions per set.
I would say to take the Heavy exercises I do, and instead of doing 5sets of 5reps for heavy weight, do them for 4 sets of 8-10reps. Every other exercise you should aim for 12-15reps with a weight that is heavy enough to not get more than 15 reps but light enough to get at least 12 good quality reps.
You're eating could still be similar to the eating I outlined in the Nutrition section of the forums.
This new workout you're doing though, please make sure you take the time to research and find out everything you need to know, because you're going to be spending a lot of time now training and eating/resting. No point in doing only 15 minutes of research whenyou're going to be spending an hour or more in the gym everyday (or every other day).
