Hello All. Im new here, need opinions.

I want to gain weight im 6'1 - 144lb 15" cold arms.My ultimate goal is to reach 160 by my 23rd birthday. which is in sept. meaning i have about 3 months (even if its crazy i wanna shoot for it regardless...)

Everyone tells me eat anything with protein + carbs. Others say Eat healthy fiberous carbs, turkey etc.

Which should i stick with? meats mashed potatos with butter ? to gain weight but will it be unhealthy? is that a sacrifice? or whats the deal.

I'm doing good intense sessions in the gym and eating fruits meats, pasta no protein drink, tuna. Havent counted exactly but i make sure i eat alot, or more than usual. not sure if i should ask for help or try it for a month and feel it. Or get down to Nutrition Schedule (carb count. per day etc)

Hope it makes sense

Thanks in advance

a few things

1. to gain the weight you want wich is quality mass (muscle) eat MORE FOOD... increase calories slowly 100 to 200 each week and you will notice a difference.. It has been said a 200 lb active body builder needs 4000 calories so you would need around 2000 (guess) increase each week 100 or so calories and go from there... i would attempt to get to around 3000 to 3200 calories to pack it on right!

2. wake up and eat about 60 to 80 grams of carbs and 40 to 60 grams of protein. i tend to make my breakfast half slow digesting and half fast digesting carbs for when i wake up because if you slept for 8 hours you have jus fasted for 8 hours! so you need to replenish yourself.. this meal should b about 600 calories!

3. your post work out meal! make it the same as your breakfast but all quick absorbing carbs and protein! also this meal should be around 600 calories!

4. eat about 6 times a day!! since i discussed 2 out of 6 meals the other 4 need to be all slow digesting carbs and protein such as oatmeal, yams, whole grains and whole wheats, and so on! eat about 50 grams of carbs and 30 grams of protein for these meals! and try to get around 400 calories per meal!

5.eat before bed! i would pound in a full meal but maybe half of your regular four meals^^^^^^

6. Make sure you get enough fats also!! if your eating 3000 calories a day and get 40% carbs 35% protein you will need 25% fats!!

7. Take it slow man, you will gain eventually... also isopure has a great mass gainer out there, so does MHP brand so check um out

lemmie kno who the tips work!!!

this is from my experience... its worked for me. basically the best shit to eat is carbs... chicken breast, with pastas, potatos, breads shit like that. include vegetables in the mix so u get a balanced diet. also hook yourself up with a good quality protein powder with a weight gain additive. make sure after ever training session u have a high protein meal (to repair and develop your muscles) and i usually have a big glass of water and mix in some creatine. as long as your working out hard, this diet will only put on muscle with very little fat. try it homie, youll see results. ONE.

Thanks for the tips!
