i started feeling pain in the lower left side of my back every time i woke up, in the gym i wear a wight belt but its like it amplifys the pain. i am going to see a docter next week but any ideas on what it is?

I see you posted this sept 1st.
my guess is that somewhere along the lines you started to skip streching your legs, specifically your butt and hamstrings.
these areas, especially your entire hip area, can get so tight they start to pull you out of a normal anatomical position.
You also probably injured some part of your iliopsoas muscles which are also in your hips. these are usually b/c people dont stretch out their hips, or stretch at all, and then tightness, extreme tightness occurs and bam,,, you have bad back problems.
This happens A LOT with deadlift especially.
