After working out which carb is good?

what would be a good simple carb to take after working out? ALso how much should you take? I usualy take a protien shake, with some non fat yogurt and fruit mainly strawberries or blueberries.

are the keys. strawberries and blueberries are awesome!!! but there are better foods for immediately after a workout. in fact, strawberries and all berries in general are great for getting lean and fat loss.
I would suggest, if you are doing fruit, to make it into a liquid shake so it digests easier and therefore faster. Use bananas, oranges, watermelon.

If you dont want to use fruit, there are other awesome things to take, such as gatorade, or if you want to spend the extra money on a supplement such as Celltech by Muscletech, Its just mixtures of simple sugars and flavor, thats it. Some have added creatine and some have amino acids and some have BCAAs. Just depends how much you want to spend.
In all reality, you should just go with the cheaptest... pure cane sugar, or even powdered sugar. No joke. But thats' after a workout.
or if you want to ahve some candy afterwards that are low fat and high in sugar, thats the best time to have it.

It really depends on which material you prefer. Waxy Maize Starch has become the fastest growing new carb source in the industry, because it uses its molecular weight rather than an insulin spike to fuel protein materials into the cells post workout.

The industry standard has been a combination of Maltodextrin and Dextrose for years, which has produced excellent results with many users. This tends to be the cheapest method, and is very effective as well.
