8 minute abs
when I was less serious about working out, my friend showed me 8 minute abs on youtube. I used it, it helped me, then i stopped for a long time and now Im doing it again pretty much every day plus other stuff I do. However, there are some excersizes in there that should be modified...I normally swap in the "side oblique crunch" and the "seated knee up with leg raises" from the jamcore videos in place of the "leg pushes" and "reverse crunches" from the 8 minute abs video....
I find that videos like this are good because its a way to know exactly how much you've done, whereas if your simply working out with no way of timing yourself, you dont really know if your slacking off or not.
Another thing you can do is pick some excersizes you want to do and do each excersize for the duration of a song. Or, if its sometihng like the side oblique crunch, you can do half of the song for one side of the body and the other half of the song for the other half of your body. The music is not only entertainment while you excersize but its a way to time yourself so you know how much work you have done.

Very cool blog

Thanks for that post
Thanks Kevin, great post. A lot of people get bored working abs and this is a nice way to break up the monotony.
Its because they hurt and
Its because they hurt and burn so much! Haha, only joking - 'no pain = no gain' is the key!
I agree with kevin i always need to have a time factor or count how many im doing to give myself that little extra push, im only 19 but its safe to say that the little extra push gets you results right?! Aerobic type classes are good as theyre synchronised to music and really motivating if done properly
