learning curve

BK77's picture

So I started this group because I'm a lean gainer and have been struggling to "naturally" gain lean muscle since I picked up my first weight 5 years ago. I've always paid attention to workout routines the muscle & fitness, etc., but beginning to realize not all body builders are created equally (genetics) and those routines might be completely wrong for me.... trying now to find the perfect blend of nutrion and workout intensity, without overatraining!!! Look forward to hearing everyones ides!

A question about staying healthy

ArbiterChrono's picture

I seem to be developing a pattern of getting sick.
I'll get all fired up and hit the weights and such, and then I'll get a cold. Part of this could be due to my sleep schedule (which is actually pretty regular and I get about 8hrs a night)
But is there anything I can do to help boost my immune system or help my body recover more efficiently. Also, If I do have a cold should I push through and continue training or stop and just rest till I'm better.

Thanks.

A

Gaining size.

Hey to all on MyFitTribe.
Keith here from London UK. Great site. Just a quick shout out to Jamo - the hardest working man in fitness, or any others who may be able to help. I have been into fitness & weight training since age 16 & have achieved good definition & a reasonable amount of muscle. My career dictates that I stay in constant shape & maintain a low bodyfat level. However, I have been advised to put on more muscle size. Is there a way of achieving this without putting on much bodyfat, or is "bulking up" the best way to go?
