Who took the day off ?

I was just curious, how many of us lost out on a day of training ? Did you skip out on that day of training, or running those extra laps, just because it was a holiday, or did you push on to achieve your goal ?

Maybe Before

but for the past year now... when it comes to holiday and it's a training day for me, I train the full distance. What ever the workout, cardio, weights, jump rope, I will not miss it. If my gym is closed then I turn to my own body weight. The excitement isn't there as much as it is in gym, but after the first drip of sweat it all kicks in. We had good weather on Labor Day, and gym was closing early, so later on that day before I broke fast with my wife I took a jog through downtown.Just crank up the pod and get to it....

I think alot of us have been

I think alot of us have been in this situation. It's horrible when it happens but you shouldn't dwell on it and just move on.

The gym I use at present is the one we have at work. It's linked in with the canteen area for all the staff. They start cooking early to prepare for the lunch-time around 7am which is my 'only' time to work out. Every so often, the fans in their kitchen stop working and you guessed it, the fire alarms go off which includes my gym. Standing out freezing my ass off not being allowed to go back in until they do all the red-tape checks etc. I miss my workout. It's happened 3 times in the last 8 months which is not to bad but it happens. It really irks me somewhat but you best not to dwell on it and get stressed.

Remember stress increases cortisol which causes catabolism. I have enough stress in my job so I don't need anything external stresses they 'aren't' paying me for! =-)

NO Day Off...

Just like any other day. My gym closed early so I was still able to get a workout in. :)

Be Blessed,
