Venting....

I wandered into a local nutrition store the other day, being I was getting a little low on my protein powder. After the clerk did his job of asking how he can help me, and if I needed a multi, creatine, glutamine, etc. He then asks if I ever thought about using a pro-hormone. Knowing what they are, I asked "Whats that?". He goes on to tell me how they will help me put on huge amounts of muscle with little fat in a short amount of time. So I asked him about side effects. "Not if you don't abuse them and go by the suggested doses." he claims.

At this point, I had to give him a speech on what my goals were. Being I want to compete in a Natural contest next year, I want nothing of the sort in my body. Along with the side effects I have seen in others. Acne, enlarged prostrate, enhanced agression, etc.

At that point, I handed him the bottle of protein powder that I was going to purchase, and told him that I would not need it, and walked away from the store. Everyone wants to sell the short cut to you. Why can't we all just put in the hard work to obtain our goal. Will it not mean so much more to us when we achieve it, without cheating?

Just had to get that off my chest.

Have a great holiday everyone.

Glad you vented..

I feel the same way, everyone wants instant gratification but isn't willing to put the work to get there. KUDOS to you Greg!

Be Blessed,
