Calories are a-burnin'
Yesterday: 90 min of Iyengar Yoga and one hour of zumba, for a 886 calorie burn!
Today: 60 min of group kick and 60 min of group power-lift for 1,010 calories burned!
Keeping my calories at my RMR. Hopefully, this highly insulin resistant body can bust through her plateau!
Went to a naturopathic MD for the first time in my life, After saliva assay, urinalysis, and blood equiv calcs, I am been deemed a "dead furnace". True, my energy level is lacking, I'm sleepy all the time, exhausted, etc. But still, I go to the gym and move move move. I'm eating clean/organic, and getting no less than 60 grams of lean protein. Even so, I am deficient in magnesium, big time, clorhphyll, and biotin, of all things. I'm definitely not getting enough leafy greens.
I'm doing a detox now, with stablized, ionized water full of fulvic acid, and zeolite, as well as some added magnesium citrate in the form of drops. I'm also adding more spinach and such to my diet. I go back in 2 wks for another saliva test. If I detox well, and my body opens up and becomes more receptive to the absorption of nutrients from my diet, I may not have to add too many other supplements. We shall see.
Here's hoping I catch a buzz of ENERGY, because working out the way I am, on the level of energy I have, is so draining. Instead of feeling energized by my workout, I want to just collapse. I probably should eat a post workout snack, but since I'm in a fat loss mode, I just can't bring myself to do that.; Also, my workouts are from 6 to 8 pm. After that, I shower and go to bed. I hate to eat in the 3 hours before I sleep.
Off to drink my weird detox "cocktail" I will update on my energy levels in a couple of weeks.
