Importance of Mammograms

Tomorrow's biopsy
The importance of getting yearly mammograms is for prevention.
I have had 3 abnormal ones since July 27th. So, tomorrow I am going in
for a biopsy on a knot they saw on my mammogram in my right breast.
It cannot be felt because it is in the deep tissue; so that is good and bad. Breast density tends to run in family trees.
The biopsy will tell what the ultrasounds and mammograms cannot. Then, I will go from there.
It is important to note that the old saying 'an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.'
I am going in optimistic and apprehensive at the same time.
Keep me in your thoughts and prayers and as I know more, I will let you know.
Hugs 2 all!

I had to miss work today...just too sore and the freaking pain medicine makes me totally disfunctional. I am supposed to be able to get the results tomorrow.
Prevention is the key....that's the hope I am clinging to.
