Desk Workouts and Exercises
Calf raises are good and keep the blood circulating in the legs. (Learned that on the airplane information booklet traveling.)With feet flat on floor, come up on toes, stetch calf muscle and count to about 15, and then release down and repeat.
Another exercise that tones the pelvic muscles is to pretend you are holding yourself from going to the bathroom, squeeze in, and release. This is an easy exercise that goes unnoticed and benefits a woman tremendously.
Rolling your ankles also will help your calves.
Don't forget your hands and wrists if you type all day. You could use a squeeze ball (can get at walmart or academy) to keep hands toned and it also works the forearem muscles. A stress ball would work.
Try to sit erect and straight so your spine will not curve. Good posture is excellent for the upper back, waist, shoulders, spine...etc. Plus it elongates the body to look lean and tall.
Hugs 2 U!
