Chin-Up bar vs. Perfect Push-Up or Pull-Up
Posted June 6th, 2008 by rayballer
Hey, MFT, hows it going, I was just wondering if the perfect push-up or perfect pull-up really works, if not is it better getting a multi-function chinning bar or any chin-up bar for a great workout? If none of these are any good which one do you suggest?

yep
here's an idea i do....
grab a pair of dumbbells, place them on the ground, and do pushups with them.
do dumbbell curls, supersetted with laying the DB on the ground and pushups. you can do hammer grip or neutral grip. which means either vertical or horizontal relative to your spine.
IHAHAHAHA!! I just thought of a catch 22,... if you have HEX shaped dumbbells, this is not going to work those stabilizer muscles like im intending... hopefully your dumbbells are round..
you can also do pushups on a med ball,. i believe James Kohler even did a video for us :D
