1st Canadian bodybuilding competition
Hey tribe members... just thought i'd update you guys on my progress. With just 2 more weeks to go, I think I have a handle on where i'm at. For those of you with experience, you know it takes alot of work to maintain everything you're worked for, especially at this particular time. I've fought with myself over everything from how many sets to do to trying out how many hours sleep I need each night for optimal training. It has become ridiculous how teadious this thing is!
Well, it's here! And I can't lie, but i've paid for the mistakes i've made up to this point. All of which has caused emotional stress & drastic changes. But through it all, i've remained in the game & didn't quit. As a matter of fact, I came up with this saying just yestarday (now that i'm dieting really hard...) "feed the animal & you'll have a lazy & full beast. Starve him, & he'll be sharp, focused, hungry & mean as hell. I'm starving!"
It's painful & exausting. But I have positive support from my friends & family that drive me forward. In this game, even if you don't have that, people still respect you for doing it because they can't. They simply won't, because it's "too hard" or "my body hurts" or some other BS excuse.
Ok, thats enough jibber jabber for now, but I will say one last thing... For everything you strive for, don't stop until you get it. But on your journey there make sure you do things right & fair. Because when you're done, you'll need the people around you to continue respecting you. They'll see this simply because you have built character by following through with what you say!
Be safe & train hard!
Oh, Thank you Jamo & everyone on MFT for all the information i've learned over the past 3 years coming to this site. It's still not over!
