Hey Jamo and MFT members!!

Ok...this is quite sad..but im having some issues now and i can't afford protein powder at the moment...
So i was wondering, is there a good post workout shake/meal that i can make without protein powder?

Like maybe get my protein from milk or something like that..
I've been searching the net, but im not getting anything :(

actually...i've been in same situation...
and i found out that several stores have sales on protein that is about to expire...
milk powder doesnt go old, and the only thing that CAN happen is, the flavor might go a tiny bit...
i usually pay like $85 for 2lbs of protein, but i can get like 12lbs for $133...keep an eye out...
i've never gotten sick or anything like that from it, and its cheap, i cant afford a buttload of supps myself...

Protein Powder Substitute

Hello Raj,

I agree with the previous comment. You can buy egg whites and drink them or make them into a protein smoothie with fruit.

I also like to add some peanut butter to my egg protein shakes!

Maybe you can cut out any less important whole foods you are buying at the store and buy some protein powder instead.

Look on the web for protein powder, you can find it cheaper online then retail stores.

i have been in a pickle without protein powder before and I used eggs and had a little something with a small amount of sugar in it.

If you use protein shakes instead of food though, usually it is CHEAPER than food sources of protein. if you need somewhere to buy them cheap, pm me brotha
