Inspiring our Youth to become Physically Fit while Helping our Community
To say that this weekend's workshops with Crazy Legs of Rock Steady Crew was an absolute success is an understatement. For the FREE Youth Workshop, close to 100 kids and even more parents came out to learn the art of bboying from the Living Legend himself.
In the midst of many athletic and sports programs being cut from many communities, specifically, lower-income communities, the FREE Youth workshop allowed us to promote physical fitness through the art of bboying, as well as use this event as a platform to remind our children AND parents to be more mindful of making healthier eating choices.

In the spirit of COMMUNITY, each participant was asked to bring (4) canned food donations to help needy families in the South Bay through the Second Harvest Food Bank. Close to 185lbs of canned goods have been collected!
The Foundations/Masters workshop had an awesome turnout bringing together Bboys and Bgirls from all nationalities, ages and backgrounds with the desire to learn from a pioneer. After a grueling 4 hours, each student left feeling inspired and motivated to place a higher importance on their overall physical fitness aside from dancing, working on their cardiovascular health and realizing the correlation of how healthy you eat is a result of how well you can perform.
I am not a BGirl, nor am I involved in the Hip Hop industry. I am just a regular girl, who has absolute passion for health and fitness and truly feel blessed to have crossed paths with Crazy Legs to bring forth the light to others. Wealth is nothing, if you don't have your health. Thank you everyone who helped us spread the word. Thank you to the awesome photographers who shared their time and talent to capture the event. Volunteers, Friends, Family - I couldn't have pulled it off without all of you. From the bottom of my heart, I can't thank you enough for your continued support as I'm always on some kind of crazy "mission".
Stay Tuned as pictures from this weekend will be posted on http://crazylegsworkshop.com/ as well as updates for future workshops and events.
Be blessed and bless others,
MO
