Full Body Workout Every other Day vs. Body part specific Every day
Hey MFT'ers... need some advice/opinions here. I really enjoy full body workouts and I shoot for 2-2.25 hours every other day mainly because I get in a groove after about 45 minutes and I just don't wanna stop(not a bad thing, I think). The "every other day" logic is because I figure my body needs that day off for recovery and rebuilding. Is this a bad strategy? Next question: I am wondering if I would benefit more from working out every day> targeting specific body parts on each day> eg, Chest and Back> Shoulders and Arms> Abs and Legs, etc...
What is the frequency that which you all work out? Do you workout at night, in the mornings or in the afternoon? Also, here is the big questions... IF you workout everyday, then as it relates to supplements, how can you take the supps on a "non-training" day if you workout everyday? Any help, advice, opinions or criticism is more than welcome!!
