Getting ripped!

Ken's picture

What I will do is use this blog to share my progress with everybody. I will continue to add pictures every so often so you can see the changes made. I will let you know exactly what I did with my diet, training, and cardio to achieve the desired change. I hope this will help everybody get to a new level.

Update on getting ripped

Ken's picture

In order to get ripped you have to be able to go to the gym. I am out for two weeks with injuries but hopefully be back to resume. Inthe meantime. I am able to do cardio to keep any excess fat off the body. I will adjst my caloric intake as I cannot train with the same level of intensity. This is very important. Many times people continue to eat the same amount after they get injured and realize the food is getting distributed in the wrong place.

Sorry to hear that man, as someone who has suffered through a few lower back injuries I can sure sympathize with you. We just published an article on overtraining, I don't know if you have seen it yet but you might want to check it out. Here it is: http://www.myfittribe.com/articles/20070430/are-you-overtrained.html

Very Smart

Heal first , than start working out again . People always make the mistake of not listening to their body and overtrain. The result is injuries

Get the Creamers and the

Jamo Nezzar's picture

Get the Creamers and the peanut butter out , If you want to get shredded for a show . What I learned from the old days is you need to train hardcore , and diet hardcore. This is what I mean't by suffering . Its better to be ready early than late . Its easier to monitor .

Watch those creamers!

Some of them have hydrogenated oils which, in some studies, have demonstrated testosterone suppressing effects. Although conversely, they've been testing hydrogenated soybean oil as a controlled release medium for testosterone...

DAMN CREAMERS

Vanilla Caramel , Hazelnut, they even have the DULCE DE LECE now !!! they might taste good but they are the worse thing to drink . NO THANK YOU I will stick with my Skimmed Milk . Us boys need all the TEST we can get to train and please the ladies.

Interesting!

Well, I guess that is how I will be measuring my intensity. If it feels like a Hawaiian vacation I guess I need to step it up!

Do it smart , don't go

Jamo Nezzar's picture

Do it smart , don't go stupid remember your body needs 72 hours to recover , drugs or not drugs
