Diet...

Well guys(and gals), The last month I have been on a "rotating carb" diet, where for 3 days I completely cut out carbs, and then on the 4th or 5th day I will have a day where I eat complex carbs...I have lost about 9 LBS and cut back a percent or two on body fat on this diet, but I do not see this being a great long term solution, as well as that I feel either like headaches for 3 or 4 days, or I am sleepy on carb day.

I am going to switch back to a low carb diet with adequate protien and fat requirements and bump up the cardio a bit to lose the last 5 or 6 pounds of fat that i need to. I was talking with a friend of mine that has won a few am. contests, and he is telling me that when i start eating carbs consistently, I will gain back all that weight lost.

I am hoping someone out there can help me out with this and let me know if this is accurate, and if so, how to keep my weight down, as this has been the only thing I have been able to do to drop that weight I would like to...

Thanks guys :)

carb cycling is a good idea.
do not completly cut out carbs though this will send your metabolism to the slowest speed possible because your thyroid will think you are starving no matter how much protein and fat you intake.

keep cycling carbs but change it around a bit like High, medium, low, low, repeat or high low low low high, repeat or something like that. You do not want to stay at a low carb diet for to long, soon as you start eating them again your body will gain fat, at least from many studys i have read.

ok as far as carbs only eat them for breakfast, pre work out and post work out on the carb days and on the "low or no carbs days" eat veggies in place of theses carb meals.

try to do big muscle groups on high carbs days like back, legs, and so on.

any thing else? im sure others will chime in soon
